This is one hot list

LifeScience [which is a terrific science releated website] has produced a list of the top 100 sweatiest cities in the US. I know your asking yourself, how would you measure such a thing? Well I am glad you asked. The results were based on the amount of sweat an adult of average height and weight would produce while walking for an hour in the average high temperatures, according to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration data.

Drum roll please, and the top 10 sweatiest cities are:
  • Phoenix, Arizona
  • Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Tucson, Arizona
  • Dallas, Texas
  • Corpus Christi, Texas
  • San Antonio, Texas
  • Austin, Texas
  • Shreveport, Louisiana
  • Houston, Texas
  • Waco, Texas
Where does Boston list? 86th, which is probably about right but here is the real question, do we need a list like this and don't we already know it's hot in the south/south west? I say no and yes.

Stay Cool!
