The bill does not Fluffuate

Senator Jarrett Barrios has abandoned the proposed amendment to the school nutrition bill to include Fluffanutter sandwiches.

"It got to the point where the larger story overshadowed or obscured his original goal, which was to have a discussion about what is a healthy and nutritious meal for kids in school," Colin Durrant, spokesman for Barrios, said Tuesday.

Maybe it was all of the negative press in the papers, on the radio and on the net that has informed the Senator that the taxpayers of Massachusetts would rather he work on real issues and not force the state and our school system to take his place as parent on this issue. I hope that the BOTB had some small effect on this issue.

Fluffanutter Forever!

Way to go, E! Saving the world, one marshmallow at a time. My personal tip for kid-friendly Fluffernutters: A few healthy drops of blue food coloring, swirled into a vortex of sky blue sugary goodness. My daughter swears she can "taste the blue".
