Is it innocent or something else [part 2]?

Quick, look at screen grab of a national commerical and tell me what you see:

Do you see Rachael Ray in yet another Dunkin’ Donuts spot pitching what looks to be a iced coffee wearing a fairly non-attractive scarf [which turns out to be black-and-white silk scarf with a paisley design] or a national media figure possing as a terrorist sympathizer? Under mounting right-wing traditional and non-traditional media pressure, the Canton-based company has abruptly canceled an ad in which the domestic diva wears a scarf that looks like a keffiyeh, a traditional headdress worn by Arab men.

Seriously? People in this country either are confused on what the item in question is used for [traditional headdress worn by Arab MEN] or they think a company like Dunkin’ Donuts is sypathtic to the Islamic jihad and are using subtle messaging to get this out to the public. Let's get honest here - there are people out there who just want to make a fuss of things like this to just make a fuss. Thank you very little ]ultra-conservative Fox News commentator] Michelle Malkin for your opinion. You have made us all feel so much better. Now I'm off to get an Iced Latte Lite with a dozen Chocolate Frosted Dooughnuts...

If we were in Salem a few hundred years ago, Michelle Malkin would have been at the front of the line calling out others as witches. She is a paranoid skag who needs to write and read and reread and edit before she clicks "Publish"! I wonder what it is like to have job where it is your duty to spread anger and fear and hate for a living. I hope it is worth it Michelle, as your life will be less fulfilling and ultimately shorter because of what you do.

Don't get me wrong, I fall on the conservative side of the fence, but these wing-nuts are an embarassment. Shame on FOX for giving this woman any air time and shame on Dunkin' Donuts for caving to Ms. Malkin overnight. They were so focused on being uber politically correct that I'll bet they offended a whole lot of Muslims, scarf wearing women, and Rachel Ray fans in the process.

I wonder who buys more coffee?

This just in, CNN is reporting it is a tie between scarf wearing women and Rachel Ray fans. Muslims came in a distance 3rd. Dunkin' Donuts is to investigate how to reach the greater Muslim community.
