Book gets shelved for Grand Ma Spears

Lynne Spears' book, which was due in the spring of 2008, about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn has been put on hold on the heels of the announcement her 16 year old daughter is pregnant.

"The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not cancelled," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.

I guess this not a good time to release an "inspirational book" about parenting two celebrity children who so far have not shown great decision making skills which is learned typically from one's parents.

Maybe Lynne can negotiate an MTV special for the pregnancy and exploit her children [and grand children] just a little but more. Or perhaps Jamie and long time boyfriend can go the two-and-a-half-year-marriage-with-two-kids route like her older sister. Either way, the Spears family continues to keep things interesting.
