suuji wa dokushin ni kagiru

Sudoku [pronounced suh-DOE-koo in America] is a Japanese abbreviation of a longer phrase, "suuji wa dokushin ni kagiru" meaning "the digits must remain single". There is only one rule to follow when solving a Sudoku puzzle:

Fill in the grid so that every row, every column, and every 3 x 3 box contains the digits 1 through 9.
Sounds easy right? Well the puzzles can be anything from ridiculously easy to fiendishly difficult. Give one a try on MiniClip.com. You can try an easy, medium or hard puzzle and there is a new one each day. Note their site requires Macromedia Flash Player plug-in for your browser and if you don't have this already, it can be downloaded from Macromedia.com.

If you want some game tips, check out Sudoku.com's help which includes how to get started through advanced logic methods.

Good luck and good night.
