A W E S O M E Ed!!!!
Just A W E S O M E!!!
We were so happy to be there with you and special thanks to Suz for running with Ed starting in Wellesley (15 mile marker before Heartbreak hill) and for taking this picture. Kym and Bob for joining Ed and Suz at the 21 mile marker near BC and BU campuses and for Sandy, keeping me company at Kenmore Square for 2.5hrs cheering the runners on and joining Ed, Suz, Kym, myself at the 25 mile marker to watch Ed cross the finish line. It was surreal and amazing to not only watch Ed reach his goals but to be surrounded by these people I adore. God bless each one of you and again Ed, great job my love, I am so proud of you!

In all seriousness, congratulations. While we were away, we were rooting for you, watching bits of the race on TV.

Lame assed kid story disclaimer:

We were watching the elite women take off at the hotel and we were talking with the girls about how you were running. The older two thought it was awesome, but Caroline looked at the TV and kept asking "Ed?" as we discussed it. Then she pointed up at the TV and said, "Him a girl?" as the ladies crossed the starting line. "No, Ed is a boy, but boys also run in this race."

I think deep down it makes me feel better to have a friend who accomplishes great things. Thanks for making that happen today.
