Harpoon Brown Premiere Party

Last night, Harpoon Brewery invited a few of their closest friends to stop by the brewery and enjoy a pint of their newest creation - Harpoon Brown Session Ale - and what a great night it was. About 300 Friends Of Harpoon came to the Boston Brewery to lift a pint with co-founders Dan Kenary and Rich Doyle to toast to their first new year round beer in over 9 years. As a FOH, we were able to attend and were given a Harpoon Brown pint glass and 3 tickets for "sample" pints. They also were serving some really delicious pulled-pork and coleslaw sandwiches to enjoy with your Brown. It was a little cold out in the tent last night but that didn't damped our spirits as we just were enjoying the beer and the togetherness atmosphere of the room. The beer was really good and maybe a permanent replacement for one of my trusty brews, Newcastle Brown Ale. I will need to perform a proper taste test before I can make a final decision and this will be on the top of my list of things to do [after work, school and house projects]. Now we have an additional reason to finish the Harpoon 5 Miler this summer and a new choice in the beer tent. Cheers Harpoon!
