And then there were 3

With Romney announcing his departure from the 08 Presidential race, it looks like John McCain will be the republicans guy this fall. As for the democrats, Obama and Clinton will battle it out over the next month or so. One thing is for sure, I don't think the country will elect another republican [given the general displeasure with our current administration] in November so this election may truly be won in the primary and not on election day.

On the contrary, now everyone will elect the maverick, leftist Republican, John McCain! They have no choice. I will have to vote for him, as my guy, the Ken doll president Mitt Romney is out! So McCain gets my vote, even if it does look like he still has some of his omlette he ate for breakfast stored in his cheeks.

What are the other choices? Let's face it, even the most ardent feminist Nazis out there don't really like Hillary Clinton as a person. The second "l" in her first name, that's just f***ing lame. Not showing off a rack with some low cut blouses, even though you are the only chick on the stage? Lame again. The crocodile tears shed in New Hampshire? So lame.

And what is a Democrat to do? Vote for change in the form of Barack Obama? If being a senator was like working at a supermarket, Barack would still have his "Please be patient with me. I am training!" button pinned to his shirt. Being black and beautiful and articulate and Oprah's latest recommendation won't be enough. Even if he did have experience and didn't sound naive, there are enough racist bigots (the liberal ones are in denial) in this country to ruin his chances of victory.

Let's not forget, we have a long way to go until November. We should be able to feel the pain of a real housing crash in the next few months, and not just the fake one the media has been reporting about. You know, the kind that lops 25% off the value of the home you just bought. Plus, we can hope for a terrorist attack on U.S. soil to bring out the defense spending again.

Whoa! As I look back, this is starting to become a rant! My bad. I will keep my mouth shut and just wait for my $2000 in rebate checks to come through so I can spend it on a weekend bender in Vegas. What do I care? I won't have to pay that money back, my kids will!
