Rain, rain go away...
As of January 1st, Boston has had a total of 28.07" of rain. The average rain for the first 5 months of the year is 17.91" so we are running a little over 10" ahead in the rain department. This is good for my grass but bad for the basement. Note: There should not be a need for water bans this summer. Let's just hope for a dryer weekend, especially for the 7th Annual Worcester Firefighters Memorial 6K run on Sunday.
Kym, Steve and myself will be running and helping to raise money for the The Friendly House, The Mercy Centre, Camp Marshall and The Worcester FireFighters Memorial Fund. All worthy causes and if you have a chance to come out and support our local hero's, please stop by and support the runners and check out the family focused activities.
