Speaking of Times Square, a little love note to visitors. If you are planning a trip to New York and wish to visit Times Square, please do so. It's busy, happening and has tons to see - especially at night. It has it all - ABC, MTV, Virgin Records, The New York Times, Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood, M&M Store, Broadway Plays, Letterman, ect, ect, ect. However if you do go, please keep this one thing in mind - they are just #$%&ing neon signs! If you have to look, get the #$%& out of the way for the rest of us who actually have places to go and are not just wandering around the 5 blocks that is Times Square looking at bright lights, neon signs and scrolling videos. In a place where you have thousands of tourist all looking up at signs and screens, it can be a real pain in the neck [pun intended] to get anywhere you need to go. Thank you for taking the time to read this gentle reminder from a tourist who spend perhaps one too many nights walking through the square.
